HI PWEG ladies!

As 2025 comes to an end, I find myself reflecting with immense gratitude and pride on what an incredible honor it has been to serve as President of the Professional Women’s Exchange Group this year.

To every member—thank you. Your energy, your ideas, your commitment to one another, and your unwavering support have made this journey truly special. PWEG is the vibrant and empowering group it is because of YOU.

And to our magnificent board - your dedication, collaboration, and enthusiasm have made my job not only easy, but also an absolute joy. I could not have asked for a better team to serve alongside.

A special shoutout to each of you:

• Donna Boyer, President-Elect — your steady leadership and insight have been invaluable, and I know you will lead PWEG with brilliance in 2026.
• Emily Forsythe, Treasurer — thank you for your diligence and stewardship of our resources.
• Bitsy Borin, Secretary — your organization and attention to detail have kept us all on track.
• Laura Cook and Natalie Montfort, Membership — your efforts have made every member feel welcomed and seen.
• Jessica McCreary and Deborah Stelly, Programs — your creativity and planning brought us impactful and inspiring programming all year.
• Lori Grubbs and Karen Smith, Communications — thank you for keeping us connected, informed, and engaged with clarity and style.
• Sandra Crook, Website Mgmt. – Although not a board position anymore, we appreciate you keeping our website looking as professional as the great group of women it represents.
• Elaine Nevarez and Jane Lehto, Social Events — your enthusiasm and thoughtfulness made every fun gathering feel special.
• Karen Botzong, Past President — your wisdom and mentorship have meant the world to me. Thank you for being such a steady presence.

This year flew by faster than I could have imagined, and I hope you all feel as proud as I do of what we’ve accomplished together. As we close out the year, I encourage you to continue nurturing the relationships you've built within this community. These connections are powerful—lean on one another, lift each other up, and be each other’s biggest cheerleaders.

While it’s bittersweet to step away, I do so with assurance that PWEG is in the most capable and passionate hands with Donna Boyer and her incredible incoming board. I can’t wait to see where you all take this amazing group next.
